Course Details

CPR – Health Care Provider (HCP):
CPR-HCP courses include all CPR skills and theory for adult, child and infant victims, including rescue breathing (artificial respiration) and the use of AEDs and bag-valve-masks. This HCP level is designed for those who, as part of their job descriptions as Health Care Providers, have a duty to respond to medical emergencies (e.g., doctors, nurses, paramedics and allied health care professionals).

Certification and Candidate Recognition:
The CPR-HCP certification is considered current for 2 years. Successful candidates will receive a certification card from the Lifesaving Society. In order to recertify, candidates must take the same course (CPR-C).
