Course Details

Bronze Medallion:

Bronze Medallion focuses on the four components of water rescue: judgment, knowledge, skill, and fitness. In this 15 hour course, candidates will acquire the assessment and problem-solving skills needed to make good decisions on, in, and around the water, including elements of self-rescue and the introduction of the rescue of others. Bronze Medallion is a prerequisite for the Bronze Cross course.

In order to be successful, Bronze Medallion candidates must pass a practical evaluation (in the water) with an Examiner.
