Workplace Standard First Aid (with CPR-C):
Workplace Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. In this 16-hour course, you will obtain a more in-depth understanding of first aid including including the legal implications of first aid treatment, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, chest injuries, and medical emergencies in addition to all the elements of Emergency First Aid.
Successful completion of the Workplace Standard First Aid (with CPR-C) course requires active participation, demonstration of skills, and a score of 70% or higher on a multiple-choice test of 50 questions.

Prerequisite:
There are no prerequisites to participate in a Workplace Standard First Aid course.
Certification and Candidate Recognition:
The Workplace Standard First Aid certification is considered current in New Brunswick for 3 years. Successful candidates will receive a certification card. In order to recertify, candidates must take the same course (Workplace Standard First Aid with CPR-C)
